Aveley League Cup Final Winners! 8th March 09
The boys made sure they did not leave with another runners up trophy. Michael sealed the win with a goal 5 minutes from the end against a dogged UPR side.

Trinity F.C. Tournament September 6th 2008
A repeat of the previous weekend saw the boys reach their 2nd final in as many weeks.
They played some fantastic football in the group stages with wins over, Great Wakering (1-0), Concord Rangers (1-0) & Great Danes (3-0). They also played out a goaless draw with East Thurrock, Which meant they progressed through to the Final as group winners. The weather had a big part to play in the outcome of this one, and losing the toss meant we had to play a 20 min 1 way game into the wind.Although the boys tried their best to play football the conditions plus a strong Rayleigh Boys side proved a bit too much, and they let in their only goal of the day to lose 1-0.

Essex Royals Tournament August 30th 2008
An excellent day bathed in glorious sunshine, the boys made their first final against strong opposition.
They played four group games drawing 2 winning 1 and losing 1. This was enough to see them progress as group runners up.
A strong display against Basildon boys in the semi's, winning 1-0 put them in the final. Unfortunatley the boys didn't play as well in this game as they did earlier in the day, as they succumbed to a strong Upr A side 2-0. The boys still celebrated with a thoroughly deserved runners up trophy, and considering the teams they faced on the day this felt like a win.

Barns Tournament June 2008
With 2 wins, 3 draws only 1 goal conceded all day and a perfectly good goal chalked off, everyone was left scratching their heads as to how we didn't win this one.
However the boys didn't leave empty handed as they collected "another" runners up trophy.
I must also say what a fantastic performance the "C" team put in against strong opposition, which meant two Chigwell teams in the top 3. Good stuff!

GEORGE PARRIS TOURNAMENT
IN AID OF GREAT ORMOND STREET
SUN 1ST JUNE
The boys had a fantastic day despite not being quite at their best on the pitch.
But this was all about the experience and achieving what a lot of proffesional players never get to do, and thats play at upton park.
We won 2 games but lost 3 which meant we went out at the semi final stage.
Hopefully this is something the boys will look back on in years to come.
Chigwell Boys B Team Under 10's Season Review 2007/08
The B's started this season playing up a league with teams that were that bit more experienced at this level. And it showed, with the boys losing 2-1 to Barns in their opening game. It didnt take long for the boys to get their 1st win at home to eventual league winners Bealonians. We also finished 2007 beating Bealonians away 2-0, which in my opinion was our best all round performance.
Another great result was the cup game against Tigers B which looked all but gone 5 minutes from time, only for us to win the tie on penalties, we went out of the cup to the eventual winners Senrab.
2008 started well with a draw & a win in our first 2 games. Then came a great performance against league leaders Tigers C, which propelled us to the top of the league. We were in a rich vein of form until we met Soccer Skills who deservedly took the points that day and inflicted our first league defeat in 14 games.
We never really recovered and took just 5 points from our remaining games, and with "circumstances" not going our way, we eventually finished a respectable 2nd.
With 2 promotions in 2 seasons i think the boys should feel very pround of their hard work, I certainly am. WELL DONE EVERYONE!
